It's a very beautiful old bridge in Pasadena and it's pretty high. Now right next to it runs an ugly freeway bridge. The name comes from the fact that a lot of people committed suicide by jumping off of it during the depression era. I believe that they even shut it down for a while (or put up a fence, I can't remember)! Can you find an image of that scene on the net for me? It's a pretty famous bridge and I'm embarrased to say that it's not a very original subject to paint...it seems like everybody has done it before! I'd love to claim to be more original, but then again it's very relaxing to paint nice things just like that...
